Biography

My name is Luis A. Sánchez, born on November 22, 1981 in Jerez de la Frontera. In this city I began his artistic career in 1999, at the School of Arts and Crafts on the historic Porvera Street.

He moved to Madrid in 2001 to study Fine Arts at the Felipe II University. In 2003 he moved to Seville where he graduated in Fine Arts at the University of that city in 2006.

During his career he acquired an expressionist style with loose and colorful brushstrokes. He has worked in a multitude of disciplines, including screen printing, airbrushing, engraving, sculpture and painting.

Currently, his work reflects a maturity where he pays greater attention to detail, in figurative paintings, without straying too far from the expressionist style.

He has recently moved to Rovaniemi with an art project called The Enchantment of the Arctic Circle through the Eyes of an Andalusian.
